Traditional Japanese Inden pre-cut fabric
Out of stock
Inden is a traditional Japanese craft that creates patterned skins . For this, deer skin is used, on which the patterns are created with lacquer. This practice dates back to the 16th century, when Yushichi Uehara developed the technique.
Our Inden fabrics have been made entirely in Japan and are vegan , as their composition is 100% rayon , but they continue to maintain the essence of Inden. The pattern of the fabrics are embossed and are very pleasant to the touch.
These fabrics can be worked with a sewing machine and with them you can create multiple accessories such as bags, pouches, cases, etc.
The fabrics come pre-cut and the measurements are 45 x 50 cm.
