Metallic thread from the Japanese brand Cosmo Lecien , known as " Nishikiito ". Considered one of the best metallic threads on the market , this embroidery thread is made in Japan using the same technique as the traditional golden thread used to make traditional Japanese clothing in Kyoto.

There are two ranges of Nishikiito yarn available:

  • Kagami : made with 100% nylon , this metallic thread is very shiny thanks to the interlacing technique used and the shine of the raw material itself.
  • Opali : Made from 100% polyester , this metallic thread has a soft texture and a multicolored shine like opals. It is semi-transparent , so it allows light to pass through it, creating unique nuances.

The skeins are 20 m long and are individually packaged to ensure maximum quality.

We have several sales formats available:

  • Individual threads : choose and buy the thread that you like the most.
  • Kagami range pack : includes the six skeins that make up this range (no. 24 Midori, no. 28 Sakura, no. 29 Beniaka, no. 30 Ame-iro, no. 32 Gofun and no. 33 Gin).
  • Complete Opali range pack : includes the twelve skeins that make up this range (no. 101 Glass, no. 102 Raden, no. 103 Fig, no. 104 Pomegranate, no. 105 Cassis, no. 106 Beer, no. 107 Midnight sun, no. 108 Peppermint, no. 109 Blue sky, no. 110 Cherry, no. 111 Pineapple and no. 112 Jellyfish).
