Exclusive Sashiko kit with 100% cotton fabric printed with a traditional Japanese pattern from the Japanese brand Naska . This embroidery kit is recommended for both beginners and people with more experience in embroidery.

Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique that has been passed down for generations. It stands out for being a technique through which fabrics are reinforced , at the same time that they are embellished with simple stitches that end up forming a beautiful pattern .
The fabric of the kit is indigo and the embroidery pattern is already stamped with chalk, so you don't have to worry about copying the design on it. Plus, once you finish it, you just have to wash it with water so that the chalk drawing disappears . The pattern is printed on one part of the fabric , the other half being plain. You can leave it as is or dare to embroider the same pattern.
The embroidery patterns available in the store have been specially selected and all of them correspond to existing patterns in traditional Japanese culture.
The thread included in the kit is a special thread for Sashiko , but it can also be used for other types of embroidery and kogin . This four-ply yarn is gently wound to give it a special natural texture . A spool contains 25 meters of thread, enough to finish the embroidery of the fabric included in the kit.
When you start embroidery, use the thread as it comes to embroider, do not unroll it or separate the ends .
The pack of needles included in the kit includes several different sizes , all of which are suitable for the thickness of the fabric and thread included in the kit. Enjoy embroidering with them depending on the type of stitches you want to make: finer, more detailed stitches with a short needle and longer, straighter stitches with a long needle .
