Sashiko thread from the Japanese brand Hidamari Lecien . Hidamari means "sunny place" and with this thread, from Lecien, they want you to enjoy a fun, bright, warm and happy embroidery experience.

This four-ply yarn is made with 100% high-quality cotton in Japan. During its production, it is gently rolled in order to give it a special natural texture, it is very soft and does not fray easily. When you start embroidering Sashiko with this thread, use the thread as it comes, do not unroll it or separate the ends .

There are 40 colors of Hidamari thread available, classified into five ranges:

  • No. 88 Solid : Traditional Sashiko colors, smoky, fun, vivid and striking tones so you can combine them however you like.
  • No. 89 Speckled : As if they were sweets! Yarn dyed with colorful specks on a white base, intended to resemble traditional Japanese Ten-Kasuri fabrics. They are great for making tassels.
  • No. 89 Melange : Beautiful mixture of two colors to create a unique dyeing effect. They are perfect for mending or decorating jeans, as well as other fashion projects. Plus, they work great for making fringes and pom poms.
  • No. 89 Multicolor : Dyed with four different colors to create a multicolor effect. They are great for making knitted and crochet accessories, as well as for packaging.
  • No. 89 Gradation : The same color, but changes in the intensity of its tone in short and long combinations. They work very well in Japanese and Western aesthetic projects.

The colors in the No. 89 range have been dyed using special techniques, so the appearance of each color varies.

The thread has a size 22/6 and a length of 30 m. The skeins are rolled into a mini cone and individually packaged to ensure top quality.
