Sashiko is a traditional Japanese embroidery technique that has been passed down for generations. It stands out for being a technique through which fabrics are reinforced , at the same time that they are embellished with simple stitches that end up forming a beautiful pattern .

The thread included in the kit is a special white thread for Sashiko . This four-ply yarn is gently wound to give it a special natural texture . When you start embroidery, use the thread as it comes to embroider, do not unroll it or separate the ends .
